Los Angeles MeetUp

Tonight's meeting at Canter's Deli was quite a success. We had spirited discussion, talked about why we want Russ to run for President, and mentioned goals to achieve for our next MeetUp.

Among the talk of Letters to the Editor (which met with lukewarm response) and the obvious petition drive, there seemed to be strong agreement on reaching out to other MeetUps (such as the ACLU, Dems for America, etc.) We came to the conclusion that galvanzing college support is pointless at this stage of the game (too early) but that building a solid base of supporters in the area is definitely achievable and vital.

Thanks to everyone who showed up! I hope we have more productive meetings like tonight's!
